Classic/Antique Car Repair: training -young talent into craftsmen, classic car restoration, vo tech

Brad,I have been in the classic car restoration business for 30 some years and have been training young talent at my shop  for many years, it seems that I'm getting rich by doing this! I have often thought about turning my shop into a votech program what are your thoughts on that Idea?

Doug, I wish that I had this question two weeks ago as we passed through Lincoln and I would have stopped to say hello. As far as a Vo Tech goes, check with your state office of education and see what the requirements are. There are many private schools all over the country in the auto and truck trades, but a good training in restoration  is needed. Go for it. We are on a trip doing a series of articles on  the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental road. If we get back that way, expect a visit.
