QUESTION: I put about 3 qts in before I noticed it leaking and the engine was not running.....
Thanks for answering..............Fred

Answer
The fill procedure for this transmission is to put in three quarts and then start the engine. Then add fluid until it is full on the stick/ Now if it leaks when putting in the first three quarts a visual check should locate the leak. If it leaks and you have put in more than the three quarts recommended before starting the engine it could be leaking out of the breather because of a high oil level. But the eyes have it, visual inspection when it is leaking.
