Classic/Antique Car Repair: 67 CADILLAC, fuse box, great shape

Question
Hi Vern, hope you can help.  My good friend recently gave me a 1967 caddie convertible to tinker with.  It's in great shape but needs some work.  Anyway, I changed some fuses in the slide down fuse box under the dash, (one fuse blew) and now the car is dead.  No sound at all when I turn key.  What happened?

Answer
Hi Guy:
Not sure what happen. Are you saying all the fuse currently in the box are good? If so, double-check the battery and make sure it just didn't go dead on you. There is a fuse that control the ignition, so check to make sure it isn't on a separate wire running under the steering column.
