Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1926 Buick 4DR Sedan, spark plug wires, gm cars

Question
Hi Brad, hope you can help me. I recently acquired this
1926 Buick which doesn't run. The Distributor has had all
the Spark Plug Wires pulled out of the Distributor Cap.
The Engine is a Straight 6.  Do have any idea of the sequence that the spark plug wires should be plug'd into the Distributor Cap? (or who I could contact?)

Thanking you in advance for your response.

Answer
Six cylinder GM cars use 1-5-3-6-2-4 and you will need to find number one by bumping the engine over and feeling for compression on number one cylinder. As you bump the engine over watch the direction of the rotor. That is the direction that you will insert the wires after locating which hole in the cap the rotor lines up with when on TDC compression.
