Classic/Antique Car Repair: 50 216 Rocker Assembly, feeler gage, rocker assembly

Brad, I have chattering rockers.  The shaft(s) seem to be worn.  I have purchased a new set.  Is there gotcha's to putting these on?  It looks pretty straight forward but I don't have a shop manual,

It is straight forward. Watch and lay the parts out in order as you take it apart and then reverse the order. The only thing that will need a little finess is the adjustment. You will need a feeler gage or several. The tappet clearance, that is the distance between the end of the valve and the rocker arm when the valve is closed, needs to be adjustment. the intake valves are set at .006" hot for intakes and .013" hot for exhaust.
