Classic/Antique Car Repair: Dash Board Repair, ford falcon coupe, 1966 ford falcon

Question
I have a 1966 Ford Falcon Coupe and I'm trying to take the dash board out so it can be rewrapped, do you know how I can get it off, were do I start.

Answer
I am a Model A guy, and not familiar with your car.  Back then, all the I/P's went in by rolling them into place.  They would pivot around the lower reinforcement.  It attaches to each side cowl.  If you want to lower the whole pnl, the unscrew it at the base of the windshield and see if it will rotate back into you lap.  That's how they went in, and it should come out like that.  You may have to lower the steering column.  Find a ford car club and join it and ask them.  Also, if you intend to work on this car, get the service manual for it and go from there.
Hope this helps a little.
