Classic/Antique Car Repair: Replacement or repair vinyl roof, vinyl repair kit, lincoln mark

I have a 1979 lincoln mark v. it's vinyl padded roof is aging and has 2 small tears by the lower rear window.  I don't know where I can get a replacement or if I can repair it...and what is the best repair kits to have.  Thank you        Collin

Although you can patch the tear with a vinyl repair kit, but it won't be perfect. If you are trying to bring the car back to original condition, you may want to consider a restoration shop that repairs convertible tops. They usually handle vinyl top as well.
