Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 Ford Mustang L-6 200 Auto Matic Trans, jumper wire, ford mustang

Question
Will not start,, but will turn over,, Good Battery and Starter. Replaced Points--Cond--Cap--Rotor--Disrtibutor--Wires--Plugs & Ing Coil. Still No Fire to Points or Plugs. Took Coil wire off of Dist Cap and held to 1/4 inch to Ground with No Spark.. There is no Balast Resistor between Coil and Dist, never has been..  Car was running Just fine when got home,, parked it for the night and when got into it the next morning no fire.. What is the problem?? I have a Chiltons & Hayes Books but all they tell you is how to
check stuff which I have with no luck as well..
Any suggestions please would be very helpful.. I have owned this car since it was 4 yrs old and NEVER had a problem like this. This has been the most Dam Dependable Little Car that I'd ever want until now, but I know that it's only something that I'm over looking.
Thank You Very Much!!

Answer
First of all, run a jumper wire from the battery ( ) to the positive side of the coil and then see if car will crank. BE AWARE THE CAR CANNOT BE SHUT OFF WITH KEY AS LONG AS THIS WIRE IS CONNECTED.

If this does it, trace out wire to solenoid for breaks.
