Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1977 corvette radiator, radiator hoses, radiator support

Question
how difficult will it be to remove and install a new radiator in this car? it has air conditioning and is completely stock.I was told the front fenders may have to be removed or loosend up before I could get the old one out. any tricks or procedure would be greatly appreciated thank-you.

Answer
First step is to disconnect the battery and then remove the transmission cooler lines. You will need to remove the hood and that will take two people. Then remove the two front hood hinge bolts. Remove the radiator support brackets that are bolted to the fan shroud. Then from under the wheel wells remove the 6 bolts that attach the radiator side supports. Remove the two bottom radiator support bolts and pull the radiator support forward and clamp it to the right hood hinge. Then you should be able to remove the radiator hoses and lift the radiator out.
