Classic/Antique Car Repair: 64 T bird steering box, suspension members, steering box

Question
Vern
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, i ahve removed all connections and am trying to pull the box out. It is leaking oil and it is not tight. It wevaes left and right in the highway while i try to compensate with the steering wheel.
I have removed the entire steering line and the rod ends seem to be in fine condition. I think the problem is from the box.
will appreciate your comments

Answer
From what you have written I would agree that the problem is probably in the steering box. If the old gray matter is still in tact I remember that box as being one of the more difficult to remove. I seams that part of the left lower suspension members need to be removed and the box drops out from the bottom.  Good luck.
