Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1966 Mustang electrical, voltage regulator, flicker

Question
Dick,
My 66 lights (interior and/or headlights if on) flicker when the car's running.  Battery fine, no loss of charge, lights are plenty bright.  Any ideas on what I might check?  Thanks,
tim

Answer
This is normal for an older car with a mechanical voltage regulator, which your car has if it still has the original regulator.  You may be able to find a replacement voltage regulator which is electronic, that will eliminate the flickering, but don't worry about it, it's normal.
