Where is the VIN location of 1950 Plymouth? This person is saying that it is the number that is stamp on the engine. It is the number listed on the Title!!! But it has plate on the drive door frame that is very different from title!!!

The number on the drivers door frame is the VIN for your 1950 Plymouth. The number stamped on the engine is just that, the engine number. The number on the title may be a number assigned by a law enforcement agency as a replacement VIN and if that is the case should appear somewhere on the car. I would contact the motor vehicle department in your state and get a ruling on which number to use before some one comes knocking on the door and claims that you have his long lost car.
