Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1940 packard super 8 1803, packards international, wood moulding

i just purchases the car from the acca museum in hershey,it is all correct except for the dash,all the chrome has been removed and replaced with a terrible wood moulding,where can i find the proper dash ? thanks bob

The dashes in these cars were trimmed in an ivory colored translucent plastic - not "chrome".  The plastic is being reproduced - contact the Packard Club at www.packardclub.org and/or Packards International at  714.541.8431 - speak to Carol - she will help you find the vendor who makes the plastic parts. Bring money!
