Classic/Antique Car Repair: Firing Order, ford f 100, firing order

Can you tell me the firing order for a 1976 Ford F-100 5.9 engine (390)?  Also doe the distributor rotate clockwise or counter clockwise?  Thanks

The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 with number one being the first cylinder on the right bank, that is the passengers side of the truck. The cylinder numbering on Ford V-8's is 1-2-3-4 on the right (passengers) bank and 5-6-7-8 on the left or drivers bank. The distributor rotates counter clockwise.
