Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1962 Ford T-Bird, oil pressure sender, oil sending unit

Our car has a 390 engine & the oil sending unit is leaking.  We purchased an oil sending unit, but don't know how to access it easily for removal & replacement.  Any suggestions?

Allen, if I remember right the oil pressure sender on this rig is mounted just above the oil filter. It has a single wire connected to it and should be easy to get to. Remember that the thread on the sender is a pipe thread and could benefit from some Teflon pipe tape on the threads to prevent leaks.
