Classic/Antique Car Repair: leak near driver side kick panels, plymouth duster, kick panels

Question
Anyone know where to start looking for a leak that dampens my carpet after a rain.  I have a 1974 Plymouth Duster.

Answer
The most common place to look on this car is the main wiring connection that comes through the fire wall just over the drivers left foot. If this is solid then remove the panel between the hood and the windshield and check to be sure that debris is not blocking the drain in that area.
