Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 1/2 stingray convertible corvette, convertible corvette, small digital camera

My Dad recently passed away and in his garage is the car mentioned above.  I am trying to determine if this is a numbers matching car.  The serial number and vin number that I have on paper work that I found are different.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Michele, numbers matching means that code numbers stamped on the transmission, engine, and differential are all the same. To find these it calls for a trip under the car armed with a flash light, couple of rags, and a pen and paper usually take a small digital camera with me and use the portrait mode.
