Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1947 Buick ? seized up..., screw driver, rebuilder

Question
I picked up a 47 Roadmaster last month, it has been in storage for the last 24 yrs. 81K very good cond. The prev owner told me it ran fine when stored, after putting mystery oil in carb and pushing in a garage.  Removed plugs, no carbon,
and attempted to spin fly wheel in front...no good.  Is there a way to turn fly wheel in rear !!! any suggestions?
Rocked it back and forth, pushed a short distance in driveway in 3rd, but won't turn...
Thanks in advance
Ron

Answer
I never try to turn a stuck engine- you are almost sure to bend a rod or a valve.  Don't take the chance - pull the head off it and drop the pan and clean and lube everything before you even try to turn it.  When you get everything oiled up good, and the head off the engine, you can take a monster screw driver and pry against the teeth on the flywheel (which is only at the back of the engine, by the way), but I doubt you are going free it up that way either, without doing serious damage.  My advice is to pull the engine out and take it to a rebuilder and have it done right.
Sorry I can't be more help.
