Classic/Antique Car Repair: Wing Window is Loose, friction device, plastic insert

Hi
My 67 Buick Special 2DR HT wing window is very loose on the driver's side.  How do I tighten it up so I can make the window stay open so I can get some air?

There is an adjustable friction device inside the door panel - you'll have to take the inside door panel off to get at it.  It will probably be broken (the plastic insert doesn't hold up well over 40 years), so you may have to fabricate a replacement out of new material.  If you are lucky, all it will need is to tighten the adjuster screw.
