Classic/Antique Car Repair: starter problems, chevy bel air, starter problems

I have just installed a new starter in my 1970 chevy bel air 350.  I will not turn over.  The starter will turn with no problem from a different power source.  Is this now a neutral starter swicth problem?

well it is either the wrong one or it is not hooked up right, clean off all of the battery terminals and on the frame too. It should start right up/ unless you did have a nurture switch prior , and just jump it together so it has to work and check its fuse
