Classic/Antique Car Repair: 86 Pontiac Parisienne, dalton addition, rectangle piece

Hello. I have a 1986 pontiac parisienne brougham, 5.0L 4bl carb, which is the sister car of the Chevy Caprice. I had it running, but now it does not want to run. It seems to be getting fuel, great compression, however the spark is blue (not sure if that is good or what??). When i try to start the car it wants to try but will not completely fire. I had it running the other day but it ran REALLY rough and i had to babysit the throttle. Now it cranks but does not want to try. I have no idea as to what the problem might be. Thanks in advance!!

Its nice to have a detailed Q instead of I have a car and it wont run..lol

Anyway Did it act like it ran out of gas before it died? Like Sputtering?..if so then its your Ignition Module Located under your rotor in distributor. rectangle piece with pluggins.
