Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1970 Chevy 350 Starter Problem, chevy 350, speed tranny

Question
My brother has put a 1970 350 motor into his sons Chevelle (71') but has had problems finding the right starter for the car.  The motor had been bolted up to a 4-speed tranny, but is now hooked up to a turbo 350 auto.  I believe the flywheel is still from the 4-speed (152-162 teeth?) and he can't find a starter that will bolt up and catch the flywheel.  The block has three bolt holes but only two are live holes.  He needs to find a starter that will utilize the two holes that are from corner to corner (if the three holes are in the form of a 7, left top, right top and bottom right, he needs a starter that has holes for left top and bottom right)  Hopes this makes some kind of sense.  Short of pulling the trans and changing flywheels, (which will mean an pulling the engine also) YOU ARE HIS LAST HOPE!  Not trying to put pressure on you :)
Thanks for any advice you might have to offer...
Mike

Answer
Mike;
I do not see any reason to pull the motor just to change the flywheel. just pull the tranny out with a jack. as far as the starter, you might be able to shim it some how, but I know what you mean you might have to play till you find one that will work, some times it will grind off all of the teeth on the flywheel.try  (jc whitney.com) see what they have , I would do some web searching  for what you need.
