Classic/Antique Car Repair: 64 Impala ss/ starting problems, 64 impala ss, firing order

Question
I was having ignition problems so i changed the rotor and cap on the original dist. with MSD stuff along with new MSD wires, it turns over but does not start, it ran really good before but i was having problems at about 70mph it sounded like it was going to die out. I do have the correct firing order 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2. what should I do?

Hea- first off- did you remove the dist. at all ? if yes than there is the trouble. if not I would re-check all wires on the plugs and on the cap. you got it right 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2-  one is on the front driver side-do you have the coil wires on right, how are the points set. and rotor ok.
and did you turn the dist. at all.??? d you get spark to the plugs?
