Classic/Antique Car Repair: location of vin, chev belair, mail

Hi roger i was wondering if you could tell me where i could find vin #'s on a 1953 chev belair. Ive looked in the door jam no tag and on the fire wahl and the only thing there is a tag with the body # trim that sort of thing. If there is no tags on the car how can i get knew ones or what do i do to get it registered and a title

HI- well look for the motor  id  it is in the enjine to the right of the water pump and just next to the lower part of the right head you will see a area sticking out with numbers on it. if the tags were taken off you can still get it reg. do you have the reg. for it? try to find all the numbers you can than  mail them to me and I will try to look them up 4 u .          >>>OK
