Classic/Antique Car Repair: Getting into Restoring., time devotion, rat rods

Question
I've always been in awe of those persons who can build and repair vehicles since I was a little kid.  I've decided that I'd like to give the trade a try as my new hobby.  I'd like to especially learn how to restore older vehicles and keep with the simplistic builds of true rat rods.  My question is....Where the heck do I even start?  I also have plenty of extra time in my schedule for full time devotion.

    HI, well I would  go to the library and look at some of the tech. books also  get some of the car magazines, hot rod, etc. and you could get a auto repair book that is a start P.S. on Sun. mornings  there are a few TV shows that are just great for  repairs, etc
