I have a 1955 ford customline V8 272 and it has the vacuume wiper motor. I want to put on a 12 volt wiper motor kit but all the companies that sell them say you can't use theirs on the 1955 ford wth a stock radio.I don't want to take out the radio, is that my only choice? Thanks, Don.

I do not understand what a raido would have to do with anything, does the rain not like music, I would go to (jc whitney.com) and tell them I sent you they sell all kinds of hard to find items ok. ....

AnswerDON, sorry I thought you had a leak, well I would do the same thing as you and try not to take out the raido if I did not have to, I did a web serch under /1955 ford 12 volt
wiper motor and there were 174 pages on it, try www.cmwauto.com also try http://blueovaltruckparts.com I think you will find what you need ok.
