Classic/Antique Car Repair: Motorola Conrol Head for 1951 Chevrolet, zero interest, antique auto

Question
I have (2) Motorola Manual Control Heads, Model 1CTM for 1951 Chevrolet.  They are the front of the radio.  They are brand new in the original boxes, from an old auto parts store.  These are definitely original parts!  Do you know anyone that may be interested in these, and if so, what is a fair value?

Answer
I beleive that while these were made to fit the 1951 Chevrolet, they are not factory equipment, they are aftermarket accessory parts, sold to people who had a car with no radio, who wanted to add one.

I'm afraid there isn't much value to them - people are always looking for correct original equipment, but there is very little to zero interest in aftermarket stuff.

My advice is to put them on eBay and perhaps someone will fall in love with them.  Don't be disappointed if no one steps up, though.  If you could find the rest of the radios, it would help a lot, but even then, I don't think they will bring much.

You could try contacting one of the antique auto radio places to see if they have any interest - it's possible.

Try at www.yesterdaysradio.com  for one.

Sorry, please don't shoot the messenger!
