Classic/Antique Car Repair: 73 Nova Tranny Problem (th350), psi pressure, 73 nova

I have a 73 Nova and i just replaced the trans with a new one and i got it all together and i cant't get it to go into any gears. I've put One quart of tranny fluid in the converter and 4 in the pan. I should also mention i installed a B&M Megashifter in the car but the adjustments seem to be ok on it, so i don't think its a shifter adj problem.

   Well I think that one reason is that the convertor must be full and the tranny should be full , or you will not get any psi/ pressure, and it will not work w/o pressure in the system. so try it with the fluid full  ok . And you should check to have all air out of the lines .the fluid must fill all the lines ,and go in the  tranny cooling system and you will need more fluid first off  . than see if it works ok
