Classic/Antique Car Repair: Sir: I would like to ask you..., modified car clubs, modifying cars

Sir: I would like to ask you if I can use the front end suspension and rear end of a 1988 irocz camero and install them on a 1948 chevrolet stylemaster coupe?  The camero suspension is 1/2 wider than the stylemaster from wheel to wheel.  Thanks for your response.  Mario Cabrera

I'm sorry, as I point out in my information on this site, I don't know anything about modifying cars - I've never done it and never learned anything about it.  I prefer to keep them original.

You can probably find someone in the hot rod or modified car clubs that has done this sort of thing, and get some advice there.
