Classic/Antique Car Repair: 3 SPEED TO A T-5 TRANSMISSION, manual tranny, ford mustang

HI DICK

I OWN A '66 FORD MUSTANG WITH A 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANNY IN IT. AND A 289 ENGINE.
I WNAT TO REPLACED IT WITH A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANNY.

I'VE JUST READ SOMETHING ON ONE OF THE NET PAGES THAT I COULD BUY THE WRONG T-5 TRANSMISSIONS BECAUSE NOT ALL T-5's WERE MADE THE SAME.

QUESTIONS: DICK WHICH T-5 IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR MY CONVERSION?

I'm sorry, I just don't know.  I think you need to ask someone who does modifications of this sort - I don't do any modifications at all, and I don't know anything about them.
Try a search of the newsgroups for "Mustang" and you'll find a group of folks who do this sort of thing.

You've already got some information on the subject from your previous search, try to contact some of the people in that group.
