Classic/Antique Car Repair: 69 Camaro Starter Switch, 69 camaro, starter switch

Question
I know you already answered me, but someone hacked my email and erased all my messages so i lost what you said, i think i need to adjust the rod that connects the switch to the key thing, is there an easy way to both adjust and test the switch? Or if there is any other info pretaining the switch it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Answer
Yes, that is what I said - adjust the switch rod by loosening the two screws that hold the switch to the steering column and just move the switch up toward the steering wheel 1/8 of an inch or so, then try it to see if everything works right, and the starter cranks when you rotate the key to the start position. I can't think of any way to test it other than to try adjusting up and down until it works right.  If you cannot get it to work right, then you can replace the switch, they are available at any good auto parts place - try NAPA first.
