Classic/Antique Car Repair: Corvette -71 heater blower doesnt work, corvette coupe, heater blower

Question
I have a -71 Corvette coupe with AC control. My problem is that the former owner removed the AC-compressor and cut most of all wires to the compressor, heater blower and resistor. The car was exported from California where you don't need the heater, but here in Sweden we sure do. I have a lot of cables cut here and there and some are just hangin loose around the engine. I have the cables to the heater blower but no cables to the resistor. 4-5 cables is coming out from the dash behind the distrubutor. I guess that some of them could go to the resistor?

Which color should go to the resistors four terminals?
You can see the resistor here: http://www.mypix.se/usrimg/JQONIMNQG/med/JMNOKRQNROQMC.jpg

I  think that if you have been using the car all this time and all of the wires  that are not hooked up, most of them are not even needed, so you should only use the wires from the heater motor and there should not be that many to make it work, you should take the heater switch out and wire it from the switch to the heater with all new wires, start from scratch don't even touch the old wires as it will drive you crazy. When you say a resistor I do not know if it is needed for the heater, I would go about it 1 or 2 differnt ways you could buy a wiring diagram for that car , or you could just wire items by themself as I would do it that way as you said all of the a/c is missing any way.Just wire the heater separate even with a on/off switch etc.As to start messing with that harness will really be a big job. I will help you as much as I can if need be ok, If you wish to wire it like normal I will help you but the winter will be over with by the time its done,no matter wich way I'll help you.
