QuestionI inheareted a what I thinkm is a 1930-31 or 1932 Dodge Brothers.
My question is how to tell what year it is.
it looks just like a 1932 Chevy I once had except for the flaps on the hood. the body, wheels and hub caps are the same

AnswerYou need to get some good pictures, and then have someone who knows these cars compare them with other cars. One book you can use for this is called the Old Car Spotter's Guide. Most good book stores carry this.
The Dodge doesn't look like a Chevy at all to me, but it might to someone else. They were completely different cars, and the Chevy was much better looking, in most folks eyes. But the Dodge is a good car, if that is what it is you are lucky. If you have any 1932 car in decent shape, you're lucky, for that matter!
