Classic/Antique Car Repair: Body Repair, rust holes, gasses

Question
I am wondering if you can tell me if using fiber glass to repair rust areas on the front nose of of a car is feasible, I am not a good welder and when I weld its ugly and usually alot to grind down I do not know how good fiberglass is to use the area for repair is not large but it is rust holes?

Answer
if area is not too large, cut out rot and use f/glass ensuring you have good adhesion. F/glass is ok to use, but if area is stressed, it can crack. Rust holes should be no problem. Leaving corrosion in place will cause repair to bubble from gasses given off.
