My 1969 chysler new yoker's radio dialer will run from one side to the other but no sound comes it just click as it moves,from one side to the other

The problem could be with the antenna. Without a good connection to the stereo the auto search will not stop on a station. If the antenna is OK, the radio may need to be repaired. Please contact me direct for more details about your classic radio.
