Dodge Repair: 04 Ram 1500 5.7 crank/ no start

Question
QUESTION: Hey there, I guess I'm going to go to a fellow tech for this one. Working on my sister truck, on Friday she went to go to work but her truck just cranks, no start. So today I went to take a look at it, I checked all fuses, battery, grounds. I am stumped. It's getting spark and fuel. But won't fire. I'm pretty much at a loss.

ANSWER: Hi Tanner,
Let me check the manual and get back shortly. It would sound like a mixture issue so let me check that possibility.
Have you tried for fault codes using the ignition key? Turn it "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage reading is replaced by a 4-digit number preceded by a P. Let me know what you find.

QUESTION: I've tried to get a fault code with no success.

Answer
By "no success" do you mean the mileage reading remains the same with no evidence that a fault code was requested? Or did you get a "done" or something similar in place of the reading?
If no fault codes was found, then my suggestion would be to check all the vacuum hose lines for a disconnection or a cracked hose that is leaking air into the intake manifold. There should be a vacuum line drawing in the engine compartment to use for reference. With spark and fuel it is usually an improper mixture that caused a no start. The other possibility is that manifold vacuum detector is in accurate but not so badly as to cause a fault code to register.
Please let me know how this gets resolved.
