QUESTION: I was going to replace this solenoid block and was wanting to know if I had to do anything besides taking it out and putting it back in the transmission. Some guy told me I had to get the truck reprogrammed or it will not start.I just lost my job so I have to do this my self.

Hi Joseph,
No need to reprogram the transmission to get it to start just because you replace the solenoid pack. The 'verification test' should be done according to the manual which is mainly for the new behavior of the pack compared to what the previous pack's behavior was via doing a 'quick learn' procedure, but even that will be 'learned' over the future usage period. I can copy and email you that 'verification test' from the '06 manual and also the procedure for replacing the solenoid pack.
