QUESTION: Air is only blowing out of defroster in all positions and a/c button ,and sideview mirror defrostwr buttons not working

ANSWER: The air distribution is operated by the 'mode door actuator'. But I need to know the year/make/model to tell you specifically where it is.

Hi Steven,
I notice that there is fuse 36 in the power box in the engine compartment which powers both the heated side view mirror heater and the control module for the ac/heater control unit. I would begin by check whether that fuse is patent or not. If it isn't then replacing that fuse might solve both problems. If not, I can provide some pages about checking out the mode door actuator itself.
