Dodge Repair: 2000 Dodge Durango missing, crankshaft sensor, reputable repair shop

Question
Hi, my brother recommended this site, as I just purchased a 2000 Dodge Durango 4wd 5.9 engine "as is" from a private owner. Unfortunately know nothing about the car. it is "slipping/missing" really bad when I drive it. Auto zone showed a bad crankshaft sensor, so I had that replaced @ midas over the weekend, car running the exact same, & engine light is on. Before I keep "guessing" what it needs do you recommend an over all diagnostic be done? Not sure how else to explain it, but it "pulls" like jerks when I drive. Brother n law said "it's missing" Thank you so much.

Answer
My best advise would be to take it into a reputable repair shop for a proper diagnosis. AutoZone provides a good service but they are not auto technicians and cannot repair vehicles. Their main job is to sell parts. Spend the money you would otherwise spend guessing at the problem by having a knowledgeable tech look at the vehicle.
