Dodge Repair: transmission dipstick tube, dodge ram 1500, dipstick tube

i have a 94 dodge ram 1500 5.9l,how do i get to the bolt and what tools do i need to remove the transmission dipstick tube to replace o ring?

To access the dipstick retaining bolt you will need a 9/16th socket with universal joint attached to a long extension. The bolt you need to remove is is on the upper right side of the transmission bellhousing. Meaning you will have to get to it from under the truck. Be advised that 1994 was a crossover year and the dipstick tube could attached to the right cylinder head with two bolts instead of one. Those bolts are very hard to access and entails lowering the rear of the transmission to even see them.
