Question
There is water ( maybe condensation from running a/c )dripping on drivers feet .. Is there an overflow valve or hose that may be clogged .. if so where is it?  The heater core is on the other side and not overheating.. Thought maybe windshield leaking .. But no rain for weeks.. can ya help?

Thanks

Answer
That you have water dripping on the drivers side of the vehicle is somewhat unusual but it is possible that it can be coming from the A/C unit. This would be true if you didn't see a puddle of water under the car near the right front tire. There is a condensation  tube which passes through the firewall from the HVAC housing into the engine compartment. Chance are that it may be obstructed. The exact location is dependent on what year the vehicle is, but as a general rule it is located at the lowest point of the housing under the A/C evaporators location. If you look up from under the right side of the car you should see an L-shaped hose extending from the firewall. Pull the hose off and check it for debris. If the tube is clear then take a length if wire and gently probe into the tube as there may be debris lodged in the unit itself.
