QuestionQUESTION: i have a 199 doge 1500 4x4 extended cab dodge..poured money into this truck,to pass inspection.
now,the check engine light comes on,and shop says no pass until fixed.
they said its a speed sensor? but the truck shifts and drives fine.
something about a monitor..unsure.
have noticed that it almost seems like it slips momentarily,Just before the check engine lite comes on.
fluid was low,added more,reset computer,next day it did it again...?
reset computer again last nite,drove over 150 miles and no lite...yet.
any ideas?..suggestions?

also,a quick tech question...i was planning on running the 360 magnum,with a 5 speed manual trans from a v-6 dodge 1500.
for my hotrod 1971 dodge shortbed.
will this transmission work with a 360?
will it handle a stock 360 power output?
i have the flywheel for the 360 already.

want to know if it can be used behind a 360 magnum same year-1994.
will it live ??
also, i have a 1994 dodge truck 4x4 transmission that was filled with Wrong fluid,and trans literally quit
now,when cold,will pull in gear till warm...then nothing again.
will somehow draining replacing all fluids with proper atf plus 4 Do anything or is it not worth doing?
atf 4 is like 70 bucks for a case

clearly,you havent helped me a bit.
supposedly you are a 14 year veteran master tech,yet you cant answer simple tech questions for vehicles that are only 6 years old??

Answerhumm sorry to say I dont get paid for any of this all volunteer work and any one at any deal I work for was not working on car that were built back in 1971 they are all gone or dead. Plus if u read my profile it says not to ask for cars older then 96 and there is a reason for this that is why I posted it. If u want that kinda answer u will haft to do the leg work not ask some one the first time and expect every one that has worked on cars to know everything about all make a years it does not work like that.
U had answered gotten the only part of the question I was going to help out with fixed what more could I do nothing that is why I said what I said.
U will simply need to look else where try justanswers.com there are techs there if some one wants to play with something that old they will respond.
