Hello,
I need to replace the lock actuator on the drivers side door of my Durango as its make this eeeennnnttt noise. How do I do this and can you recommend a site where I could purchase the part for a reasonable cost?

REMOVAL




Remove the screws (5 & 7).
CAUTION: Trim panel is attached to the door using hooks molded into the panel. Do not pull the trim panel straight off or damage to the panel and/or power switch assembly may occur.

Lift the trim panel up off the lock rod (4) and attachment hooks and separate the panel from the door slightly.
Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
Disconnect the inside handle actuator rod (3) and remove the trim panel (6).




Remove the switch panel (1) if necessary.



REMOVAL




Remove the watershield. (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/WATERSHIELD - REMOVAL)
Remove the bolt (3) and nut (2) and position aside the rear glass run channel (1).




Remove the latch screws (5).
Disconnect the actuator rods (3).
Disconnect the electrical connectors (6) and remove the latch.
