Dodge Repair: Grand Caravan Front Wiper Motor Replacement, windshield wiper motor, torx screws

Question
I'm having problems with front wipers on a 97 Grand Caravan, they don't move, just make a loud buz/hum.  Took off the wiper arms and their splines look fine.  Took off the cowl and with the wipers 'on', I can get the whole scissor mechanism to move if I push it lightly.  I'm thinking that considering how strong the motors are, this little push shows that the scissor mechanism isn't binding but rather the motor lacks the juice to do the job.  So I'm going to replace the motor.  I'd like to know how much stuff I need to remove to replace it.  It looks like the motor 'plugs' into a central 'gear', that's connected to the scissor mechanism.  I'd love to just remove the motor screws, but the bottom of the two torx screws holding it in looks inaccessible.  Do I have to remove the entire wiper sciccor mechanism?  That would be 4 braces over it, 4 mounting brackets, plus 4 more screws holding the central gear/motor assembly.  Hoping there's an easier way.

Thanks,
Mike
