QUESTION: Kevin,
The dealer thought it was the mirror motors.  They thought the motors were over heating.  The other settings work fine.  What do you think?

Answer
Lets make it simple and u can make the call yourself, the mirror has 4 motors R,L,up and down ok. if the motors are bad so what they are saying  then if u use the manual switch and more the mirrors where ever u want them to go they will over heat and stop moving like when u press the memory seat switch correct? With that being said if they move all the day long  it cant be the motors because they are moving each and every time. There are no different motors for the memory and manual switch all the same.  On the other hand  if they do stop moving when u play with the switch  then yes they are correct. Was the explanation for that good ?
