Dodge Repair: front axle problem, cotter pin, brake caliper


Question
I have a 2002 ram 1500 quadcab 4x4> I am trying to remove the right side axle shaft from differential housing. I have the cv joint out , I have the diff cover off but I can't see how to remove the shaft. Thanks for the help

REMOVAL
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove wheel and tire assembly.
Remove brake caliper, rotor and ABS wheel speed sensor if equipped. Refer to 5 Brakes for procedures.
Remove the cotter pin and axle hub nut.
Remove hub bearing bolts (HUB AND KNUCKLE) and remove hub bearing from the steering knuckle.
Remove brake dust shield from knuckle.
Remove axle shaft from the housing. Avoid damaging the axle shaft oil seal.
