---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Sorry for the follow up but how do I pop the front dash off? Is there screws I need to take out or slide it one way or the other? Do I have to pull a clip off? If you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it, thanks again...

Answer
INSTRUMENT PANEL
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove instrument panel top cover. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL TOP COVER - REMOVAL)
Remove speaker retaining screws (Instrument Panel Speakers Remove/install).
Remove speaker and disconnect wire connector.

REMOVAL
Loosen the two screws at each end off the defroster slot until they are flush with top cover surface (DO NOT REMOVE).
Remove the screw at each end of the top cover.
Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry out on both the left and right A-pillar trim panels and remove.
Use care not to scratch the panel. Lift up at each end of the cluster bezel and along the rearward edge of the top cover to disengage the clips.
Pull the top cover rearward until the forward pins disengage from the instrument panel.
