Dodge Repair: My 2002 Dodge Durango, check gauge, temp gauge

Question
I was driving home last night and notice my suv was over heating the check gauge light came on, i was trying to make it home to park it so I could check under the hood to see what was going on. On my way home white smoke was coming from the hood so I immediately pulled over and checked under the hood, i seen fluids and on the drivers side it looked likes whatever was leaking was going all over the side of my suv while i was driving. Also my temp gauge was on H almost the whole time I was driving. I would like to know what is wrong with my vehicle PLEASE!!!

Answer
There could be any number of thing that caused it to over heat.
Plus u driving it while in the hot could also have caused more damage.
This is something that u will need to have some one physically look at it. There is not much I can do online to help u.  Could be just a leak but I would have no way of knowing unless some one was there to look at it and pressure test it  sorry.
