Dodge Repair: Dodge Ram Stereo Steering Wheel Ctls, passive restraint systems, dodge ram 1500

Question
Kevin: I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with stereo ctls in the steering wheel.  Controls on the left side (ch changer) broke today, I pushed on it to change channel and heard it crack and now it just "flails" around in there, not working.  I read other posts you made on replacing these ctls and see your comments about the air bag; (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/DRIVER AIRBAG - REMOVAL).
Remove the speed control switches (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/SPEED CONTROL/SWITCH - REMOVAL).

But I can't seem to find "8" that you refer to.  Can you advise where I might find this specific information?

Thanks,

Kenny
