Dodge Repair: Stater location, mounting bolt, conversion van


Question
I'm trying to located the stater on a dogde 1997 conversion van 2500 that is dead. Can you help on the location or provide a diagram?

STARTER
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the starter lower mounting nut and lock washer Starter Mounting Hardware Remove/Install
Remove the starter upper mounting bolt.
Move the starter towards the front of the vehicle until the starter gear housing nose clears the bellhousing. Then tilt the starter nose downwards past the exhaust pipe Starter Remove/Install
Remove the nuts from the solenoid terminal studs for the starter battery cable and solenoid wire harness connectors Starter Connector Remove/Install
Remove the starter motor.
Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the starter hardware as follows:
Starter mounting bolt - 68 N·m (50 ft. lbs.)
Starter mounting nut - 68 N·m (50 ft. lbs.)
Battery cable terminal nut - 13.5 N·m (120 in. lbs.)
Solenoid wire harness terminal nut - 6.2 N·m (55 in. lbs.)
